Harbour Users Advised Ahead of South West Water Restrictions

South West Water’s temporary hosepipe restrictions are due to come into force this weekend, affecting how water can be used across the region.

While the measures are aimed at reducing pressure on water supplies during the current dry conditions, Falmouth Harbour is keen to ensure that berth holders, marina customers and visiting boat owners understand what the changes mean in practice.

The restrictions will affect routine activities such as washing private leisure vessels, although provision remains in place for essential boating operations. Harbour staff will continue to assist customers where permitted water use is required and are available to answer any questions regarding the new rules.
